Booking
a Santa Barbara Charter Flight
All you need to do is decide on some details and give us a
call:
- Where are you
going? All we really need is the city, but
if you have a preferred
airport let us know. Otherwise we can suggest a few
that are close to your destination.
- When do you want
to leave (date and time)?
- What kind of/how
much luggage will you have?
- What kind of ground
transportation do you prefer upon arrival?
(Rental car, limousine, taxi cab, or courtesy pick-up from
your hotel)
- Who is going?
(Passenger name(s), age(s), and weight(s)
- How long do you
want to stay?
- What kind of refreshments
shall we stock for your flight?
- What entertainment
options would you like? We can supply DVDs, CDs and
videos for your enjoyment. Remember that all three can operate
simultaneously, so one person can watch a DVD while a second
watches a video and the rest listen to any of three CD channels.

Boarding
the Plane
Our pilot will help you to the plane and will load your luggage
and help you get situated. Our plane has a large cargo area
in the nose, so most of your luggage will be out of the cabin
and out of your way.
Boarding is a very fast and efficient process.
Our pilot will have completed our extensive pre-flight safety
routine before your arrival, so you'll be taxiing within minutes
of getting to the airport.
This is the relaxing part of your trip. During
the flight (typically one to three hours) you can read, watch
a movie (DVD or VHS), listen to CDs, play cards, sleep, or
enjoy an in-flight snack or beverage. If all you have flown
on a commercial airliner before, there are several pleasant
differences you'll notice right away:
- Bigger windows
- More room to stretch out
- More comfortable seats
- Smoother, less stressful takeoffs and landings.
Our aircraft travel at slightly lower speeds than commercial
airliners. In general, the plane feels "stiffer"
and more stable than a large jet. For example, the wings
don't bend as much. Also, there are no "groaning"
or "creaking" noises as the plan rotates and takes
off.
- Club seating means you're facing the rest
of your party, making conversation easier.
Arrivals
Landings are typically very smooth. Our plane approaches
at a much slower speed than an airliner, meaning you'll experience
a smoother and less stressful landing. After a short taxi,
you'll pull up to the terminal where your ground transportation
will be waiting at the plane as you disembark.
You will often find it more convenient to fly
into smaller airports nearer to your destination (such as
Santa Monica Airport instead of LAX). The feel of these small
airports is much more relaxed and friendly. In any case, you'll
be on your way within minutes of landing.
